new fridge, brand new era, feels great

i'm listening to a mix cd from my internet friend and it's really good. it's the first mix i've gotten in a long time, and i forgot how good they can be. i like that there's an additional layer of meaning: there's the significance of all the individual songs, just the same as if you'd heard them on the album or on the radio, but then there's the significance of which songs were chosen, and in what order, and so on. hey, this has captain beefheart on it!

my apartment smells incredibly strange. oh. this is because emily put tahini in the stirfry. that's a terrible idea. was it good? no.

tonight me and tasha snuck 22 oz beers into teriyaki boy. and then we didn't see drawing restraint 9.

we got a new fridge! this weekend, i plan to scrub the floor, like in the olden days. because the swiffer didn't do shit. i also want to cook eggplant. and marco's having a party on saturday! and fkkn lightning bolt on sunday!
