thomas is stuck in the elevator. i am laughing hysterically about it. "is he okay? what's he saying" "i don't know, he made some catty remark, i didn't quite hear."

this weekend i took the GRE and i did good. then i went to see nicole's band and they were good.

the cat is living with the landlord again. there was another stray cat in our hallway today. there are some feral cats in steve's neighborhood that have so many whiskers that they look like mustaches.

me and the mixtape club traded cds finally. we're still looking for a name for the mixtape club. i need some serious inspiration for my next cd because i'm tired of a lot of the music i have.

up until sophomore year of college, i had a comprehensive list of every band i'd ever seen, but it's pretty hard to remember everything now. oh well.

geoff told me to blog about his surprise party but that was so long ago now. i made red velvet cake! we surprised him. mary and steve and stu and ben came. there are a bunch of funny pictures. me and mary got into a stoned argument about whether room temperature or ice cold water was better, and by the time we'd finished debating the ice in her glass had melted, so i won.

after eating delicious gourmet breakfast sandwiches this morning, i got a flat. jenko saved the day with a new tire and tube as well as service. she was paid with popsicles and beers. she saves my life quite often. it was like so hot today.

i am in the market for a new bike. robin and david are coaching me on this. for some reason i'm needing a lot of hand-holding in this process. i basically do not know what i want to buy and i'm flexible with money (how lucky do i feel?). look out for a dial-a-pizza-bike.

i'm listening to a song by a friend. the chorus is "just put me in your mouth." its also sung by a chorus of people (atleast 4). i love and hate it. love the sound, hate the lyric.

i'm looking for tattoo placement suggestions. its small but contains numerous components: line drawing of a cat w bunny ears and racoon tail, a lopsided heart, and the text "bunny hop" as written and drawn by maribeth margaret.

switch to the new version

well, well, well.

yesterday our landlord came upstairs with a kitten and said "you can give her something to eat if you want. she eats everything. she even eats rice with us. she even gets in the shower with us."

and then he left. and now we have a cat.

we think this is because we told him we saw a mouse in the kitchen. he said "i'll take care of it." i guess he took care of it.

she quickly got down to business and jumped on top of the guinea pig cage. guinea pig was quickly moved to my room. she's adjusted well.

the kitten's pretty cute. i'm a little bit allergic to her. i relate to her a lot though. she just had a fight with the couch cushion and totally won.

tonight we saw a concert in bushwick. the best two sets were: dan deacon and ryan sawyer. magic markers were boring (sorry). we got some nacho pretzel combos and split a cab home with sean and judy.

also recently i saw: marissa nadler, dalek, the blow & mirah. and i finally found a photobooth, at the bar where we saw dalek. this has been a little quest of mine.

i think me and chris are gonna visit boston in mid-april. happy birthday eeeee monen. i would also like to visit baltimore!

i have been baking a lot of cookies lately. i could probably start a baking blog. but then i'd be a girl with a baking blog.

okay, time for bed.

upgrade u.

i barely made it through last week: break in (burgled!), sinusitis (fever!), and missed exam (make up!) were really struggling. i don't want to get into it or i may cry.

amy, apparently our blog needs an upgrade (according to google) or something. you also need to upgrade and post. i guess my loves were hard to follow.

speaking of - i just happened upon some emails to justin. as little as i care for him now, i think i really was in love with him. i'm not gonna deny it. i was really nice and i'm really proud of that.

i'm on the hunt for a new bike as soon as i figure out my frame size exactly.

i'm really into all kinds of dietary supplements lately. its an expensive thing to get into.

i wouldn't mind going on a date. i'm gonna try to rage with monen and nadeo and goligo and alex this weekend. that will be almost as good as a real date. c u next time.

i also have a bug that i suspect is a bed bug sealed in a plastic bag on my desk.
